In this webinar, I discussed the Clean Air Hospital Framework (CAHF) framework, its implementation methodology, and the progress made at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) and Freeman Hospital, Newcastle NHS Trust. I highlighted key strategies for improving air quality, guided by the framework, and shared key data from my air quality monitoring at the RVI and Freeman Hospital. Thanks to the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) for providing the platform. Watch to learn more about our innovative approach.
This webinar features an insightful discussion with four distinguished speakers:
The conversation progresses from a comprehensive overview of global, national, and local air quality status to specific interventions and perspectives from Newcastle Hospitals.
We encourage you to watch and share your feedback on this important discussion.

This webinar was hosted as a hybrid session. The session was less about presentations and more an interactive workshop exploring everyday air pollution exposure through simulated commuting scenarios. Using pollution dispersion visualisations, participants examined how route choices influence personal exposure, sparking meaningful conversations that extended beyond the workplace and into their homes.
The webinar recording is not publicly available and can only be accessed internally within Newcastle Hospitals NHS Trust.
