In this webinar, I discussed the Clean Air Hospital Framework (CAHF) framework, its implementation methodology, and the progress made at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) and Freeman Hospital, Newcastle NHS Trust. I highlighted key strategies for improving air quality, guided by the framework, and shared key data from my air quality monitoring at the RVI and Freeman Hospital. Clean Air Workshop hosted by Newcastle NHS Trust Sustainability Team -July 2026
This webinar was hosted as a hybrid session. The session was less about presentations and more an interactive workshop exploring everyday air pollution exposure through simulated commuting scenarios. Using pollution dispersion visualisations, participants examined how route choices influence personal exposure, sparking meaningful conversations that extended beyond the workplace and into their homes.
